You Should Consider Drafting Jay Huff - NBA Fantasy Basketball Sleeper

Potential Fantasy Breakout- Jay Huff

A few days ago, Jay Huff was traded from the Grizzlies to the Pacers for a second round pick and a second round pick swap. Huff bounced around the G-League and the NBA before finally being signed by Memphis last season. While on the Grizzlies, Jay displayed all-around fantasy appeal as he was able to fill up the stat sheet when given more playing time (see stats below). While it's a small sample size (7 games), Huff has a way better chance of seeing more significant playing time with the recent departure of Myles Turner and with James Wiseman coming off of a torn Achilles injury (Isaiah Jackson also tore his Achilles but hasn't re-signed with Indiana as of today). With Jay being traded to Indiana, he has a good chance of filling the void that was left by Turner, as he's proven to be a viable outside shooter and shot blocker in his limited usage. The Pacers have a lot of vacated volume with Tyrese Haliburton out for 2025-26 campaign and Turner's recent departure, which should hopefully allow Huff to take full advantage for fantasy in this upcoming season.
