Watch Here - 11 MUST ADD Waiver Wire Targets || NBA Fantasy Basketball [WEEK 7]
Unfortunately, Fantasy Basketball is a game of chance when it comes to the waiver wire. The league is deeper than ever with talent, but there are only so many minutes to go around. And, with players dropping out of rotations like flies these days, player stocks are fluctuating at a breakneck pace.
Thankfully, Robbin Marx has you covered! After much research, this list has been compiled of several players who are not only proven commodities on the basketball court, but who are continuing to show their worth right now. The season is still young; lots of these guys with how they are impressing on the court at the moment can not only turn this early production into short term gains, but maybe even permanent minutes going forward.
Add these players and stash them or just take immediate advantage of their opportunities with their teammates being hurt. Act now!
High-Upside / Priority Adds
Adem Bona (PHI) – With Joel Embiid often out and Andre Drummond injured, Bona is getting minutes and producing rebounds, points, and especially blocks. Has top-100 to top-75 upside if his role sticks.
Jaylen Wells (MEM) – Thriving while Ja Morant is out. Strong scoring volume, minutes in the low 30s, hits threes. Good short-term add for points or category leagues; drop when minutes decline.
Julian Champagnie (SAS) – On a scoring tear with steady minutes because of injuries (Wembanyama, Castle). Producing points, threes, rebounds, and defensive stats. Great short-term add.
Jay Huff (IND) – Recently became the Pacers’ starting center. Blocks shots, hits corner threes, ideal fantasy skillset. High-alert add.
Role-Based / Schedule-Friendly Adds
Moussa Diabate (CHA) – Flashes strong rebounds/blocks numnbers with improving FT%. Gets opportunity this week with Charlotte’s 4-game schedule.
Daniel Gafford (DAL) – Still productive when he plays (rebounds, blocks) despite inconsistent minutes. A good streaming option, especially with Dallas’ favorable schedule.
Jose Alvarado (NOP) – Producing across the board when getting 25–30 minutes: points, assists, rebounds, steals. Strong streamer while the minutes continue.
Trey Jones (CHI) – Reliable production despite back-and-forth role: assists, steals, decent scoring. Widely available. Make him a go-to “add, drop, and add again” option.
AJ Green (MIL) – Huge minutes lately (mid-20s to nearly 40). Great 3-point streamer with sneaky value in points leagues.
Speculative / Watch-List Adds
Ryan Nembhard (DAL) – Dallas is experimenting at PG; Nembhard is getting some run and showing flashes. Add to see if he wins the role, drop quickly if not.
Saddiq Bey (NOP) – Producing double-doubles and defensive stats recently. Could be a long-term hold depending on Pelicans injury news.
